Teamoods provide a wide range of fine quality teas in the purest forms. Since wintersare here, we all want something that will keep us warm and cozy inside. In the traditional way chai is always a go to form but let’s try something different this winter.
Tea Frappé or Chai Frappé is here to steal your hearts this season. We all know about the famous coffee frappes available in the cafes but not of tea frappes, right? Let us tell you the best way you can make a tea frappe at home.
Why choose tea frappé over coffee frappé? Tea and coffee both have caffeine but the way it gets absorbed by our body is the key. The energy boost from caffeine in coffee is higher but is short lived whereas the energy boost given by tea lasts much longer because, with tea the caffeine is absorbed into the body slowly. Plus, teas have higher concentration of antioxidants than in coffee.
We can choose any black teas or flavoured teas that go well with milk or crème. Premier’s Tea provides you with many options like Assam Tea, English Breakfast, Masala Chai, Chocolate Flavoured Tea, Caramel Tea, Chai (CTC), Strawberry Flavoured Tea etc.
Ingredients required:
Recipe :
Boil water and put the tea leaves and wait for 2 to 3 minutes for the tea leaves to open and bring out the best taste. Add milk to the boiling tea or crème according to your preference. Let it boil for another few minutes and then shimmer the tea through a strainer.
Take some ice cubes and some honey or syrup or anything that you prefer for the sweetness and blend the tea with a hand blender or a normal blender for a minute or so for the froth to thicken.
And we are done! Serve it in a glass with few more ice cubes if you like and some more toppings like whipped crème or chocolate sprinkles if you want to make it look fancy and tada! The best cup of Tea Frappe is done!
P.S. – Try this with our Chocolate Flavoured Tea or Masala Chai.
